Getting To Cubertou

If you are attending visiting courses Yoga Retreat or Beauville Arts Advanced Wind Chamber Music then please discuss travel arrangements with your course organisers as these will differ from below.

For all other courses:

Please arrive at Cubertou, Monsempron Libos or Bergerac on the afternoon or evening of the start day of your course.

Train travel is easiest for carrying larger instruments or art work and for making train connections. Trains can be economic if you book tickets as soon as they become available, i.e. 3 months in advance. Rail EuropeEurostar and The Bahn are some of the many online booking sites available.

Ryanair, Jet2, EasyJetFlybe and British Airways offer flights to Bergerac, Bordeaux, Toulouse and Carcassonne. Prices will vary depending on how far ahead tickets are booked, flight time of day etc.

For both train and air travel there are early booking discounts and occasionally late booking discounts, but in general it is advisable to book early. We also recommend taking out travel insurance in the event of you having to cancel your trip.

Please check out the various Travel Options below in order to find the best value travel for you. If you do fly then we advise that you check for restrictions, for example how much you might need to pay to keep larger instruments in the cabin, BEFORE you book your flight.

Train Travel

French train tickets can be booked within three months of travel. Booking early is generally very much better value than booking later.
