28th July – 4th August 2012
Liven up your fluting skills and relax in the South of France!
The Flute Holiday is packed with fun and effective techniques for getting the most out of your flute playing. There is plenty of opportunity for playing: in Flute ensembles, Master Classes, Technical and Ad-Hoc sessions.
Have fun while making progress in a relaxed, non-competitive environment. This is a Holiday… there’ll also be time to relax by the pool, visit the local wonderful Chateau Bonaguil and enjoy convivial candle lit suppers in the open barn.
The Flute Holiday is for
- Amateur flute players who have learned to a high standard (grade 8+) but perhaps no longer practice or have regular lessons and would enjoy brushing up their playing and exploring the flute repertoire
- Flute teachers who would like to add fun techniques to their own teaching
The Flute Holiday is limited to 16 places.

What People Say about Philippa’s Courses
‘I had the most wonderful week and enjoyed learning simple and intelligent fast track ways to improve my playing. There are some fabulous modern techniques for mastering control with breathing, high notes, etc. that weren’t around when I last had a flute lesson.’
‘The whole “Philippa Experience” was liberating and such good fun. Her attitude is so positive and encouraging. The course was amazingly supportive and non competitive, I’d never have guessed that being with so many other flute players could be such fun!’
‘What I really learnt wasn’t so much how to do new things but how to stop doing all the things that were getting in the way of me playing my very best. A truly enjoyable time.’
Superb home cooking and local wines are provided and refreshments are served throughout the day. We welcome vegans, veggies and meat eaters. Please let us know of your dietary requirements when booking the course.
